She was the wife of the late Lawrence (Larry) Frazer since 1970, the mother of son Justin and his wife Jessica Almeleh-Frazer of Brooklyn and Ghent, New York, and of daughter Adina Frazer of New York City. She was the grandmother of Coralie (Coco) L. Almeleh-Frazer. She was the sister of Joshua and his wife Kay of London, Ontario and of Will and his partner Ginette Ross of lvry, Quebec.
Sylvia was a graduate of McGill University with degrees in Audiology and Speech/Language Pathology. Sylvia was an Audiologist at Mass Eye and Ear for over 50 years.
