

Our world will be forever changed. Ann Walter was called to suffer no more and departed her family on January 9th, 2022.
Ann was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 20th, 1952, to Marie Tilotta and Angelo Vergona.
Ann was a mother to Alice Bullard and Richard Javad and honestly a mother figure to many. She raised her children with love and devotion.
For many years she enjoyed coaching her son Richard’s basketball team. She was always high spirited and the life of the party. Her signature laugh was positively contagious, and she was an amazing cook. Ann was always willing to help others any way that she could and did it wholeheartedly and with love. Most of all she loved spending time with family.
During her healthier days she was a Sunday school teacher and a dedicated volunteer at Saints Simon and Jude Church. She loved spending time at church and loved helping all the ways she could.
She is preceded in death by her brother Joseph Vergona and survived by her daughter Alice Bullard, her son Richard Javad, fur baby Jack, granddaughter Victoria Biscardi and her nephew Efrain Vergona Piekutowski.
Aside from her children, she doted on John Wyer who was like a brother to her.
A visitation for Ann will be held Monday, January 17, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223.
