

Camille Pentovolpe McGill, a warrior who fought cancer not once but twice, left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone she touched. Her courageous battles against this devastating disease inspired countless people, and her strength and resilience in the face of adversity will never be forgotten.
Diagnosed with cancer uterine in 2023, Camille underwent rounds of radiation and then chemo with determination and grit. Though she achieved remission, the cancer returned 6 months later. Undaunted, she faced her second battle with the same fierce determination, inspiring her loved ones with her unwavering spirit.
Throughout her journeys, Camille's love for her family and friends and animals remained unshakeable. Her bravery, optimism, and refusal to give up will continue to motivate those who knew her.
Camille is survived by daughters Danielle and Laurie. Her grandchildren Matthew, William, Mia and Kaley. Son in laws Chris and Anthony. Also survived by her sister Donna and her brother Salvatore. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she's touched, and her memory will be cherished for generations to come.
In lieu of flowers, donations to cancer research or support organizations would be a meaningful way to honor Camille's memory.

A visitation for Camille will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223. A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St Mary Mother of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 2326 84th St, Brooklyn, NY 11214. Interment to follow in The Green-Wood Cemetery, 25th St, Brooklyn, NY 11232.
