

passing of our beloved Daniel Harrison on
July 6, 2025, at his home in Evans Georgia.
He was 64 years old. Daniel Harrison was
born in Manhattan N.Y. on October 26,
1960 to his loving parents Glenn Lewis and
Mary Crittle.
Daniel was a member of Bethel Seventh Day
Adventist church before moving to Evans
Georgia, where he was a devoted member of
Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church. He
found great comfort in his faith. He loved
the Serenity Prayer and used it as guidance
throughout life. He touched the lives of
many with his laughter, and conversation.
He will be remembered for his kind, loving
spirit, compassion and joy he bought to our
lives. He will be forever missed but never
forgotten.
After high school, he enlisted into the
United States Army. He served from June
14, 1980 to March 17, 1989 as a 76C
Equipment Records & Parts Specialist. He
was a proud and dedicated Soldier. His
commitment to his country was unwavering,
and he was a source of inspiration to all he
knew. He loved the Army and would serve
again if he could. During his Army career he
was stationed in Nuremberg, Germany, Fort
Hood, Texas and Fort Riley, Kansas. Daniel
earned the Army Good Conduct Medal,
Army Achievement Medal, Army Service
Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Non-
Commissioned Officer Professional
Development Ribbon and Marksman Rifle
Qualification Badge. Following his
distinguished Military service, Daniel
married Benita and had a beautiful daughter
name Latisha.
Daniel is survived by his beloved mother
Mary Lanier, eight siblings: Arthur
Whitehead, Ernestine Harrison, Mark
Harrison, Lawyer Lanier III, Mary Smith,
Carolann Lewis, Laprea Glasgow, Diane
Pascal and brother in law Lee Smith. His
three grandchildren Ladreamah McNeal,
Jordan Edward, Reniya Kendrick. He is also
survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces,
nephews and cousins. His legacy of service,
love and dedication will forever be cherished
by his family and friends. He was preceded
in death by his adoptive father Ernest
Harrison Sr., stepfather Lawyer Lanier II,
biological father Glenn Lewis, sister Sylvia
Harrison,brothers Ernest Harrison Jr.,
Arnold Harrison, and daughter Latisha
Harrison.
In his free time, Daniel enjoyed,
traveling, being involved in his church,
spending time with his family, and
friends. He especially loved the time
spent with his nieces and nephews. Daniel
also loved to rap, sing, dance. As a child
his favorite activities were card games
and karate.
A Memorial Service Visitation in Chapel will be held at Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, located at 2005 W 6th St, Brooklyn, New York, 11223. The visitation is scheduled for August 4, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
