Doris Ginsberg

Born November 27, 1950, Doris lived in Brooklyn, New York.

With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of a beloved mother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, grandparent and tootsie on Friday, April 10th.

She was a woman of extraordinary warmth, kindness, and love—someone who gave endlessly to those around her and made everyone feel seen, valued, and cared for. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to her family and friends, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Amy, her son-in-law Mark, and her cherished “chickies,” Gabe and Zoey. She is also survived by her sisters, Anne and her husband Peter, and Eilene and her husband Harold. She leaves behind her niece Stacy, nephew Zach and his wife Jenna, and her adored great-nephew Asher and great-nieces Sofia and Kaia.

She was truly the heart of her family—the most amazing person, whose love knew no bounds. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the memories she created, and the deep love she shared so freely.

She will be missed more than words can express, but she will remain forever in our hearts.

A Graveside Service will be held at Mount Ararat Cemetery, 1165 NY-109, Lindenhurst, NY 11757, US, on April 13, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
