Frank Mignoli

Francesco (Frank) Mignoli was born on April 16, 1935 in Caggiano, Italy. He passed away peacefully on October 27, 2023 at age 88. His parents were Onofrio Mignoli and Anna Isoldi, and his oldest brother was Giuseppe Mignoli. Frank is survived by his wife, two children, and three grandchildren. Frank was a very dedicated and hard-working husband and father. His family meant everything to him, and he is everything to us. He was the beloved husband of Antonia Mignoli, and they were happily married for 68 years. He was the most loving and caring father and father-in-law to his two children and their spouses, Onofrio & Francine Mignoli and Anna & Gaspare Fasulo. He was also the best grandfather, lovingly known as Nonno Papa, to Frankie, Angela, and Antonella. He worked as a barber/hairstylist in Manhattan and gave each of his grandchildren their first haircuts. With his love and appreciation for nature, he tended to and built the most beautiful garden at his Brooklyn home year after year for five decades. He looked forward to gardening each year, and he would always give fresh fruits and vegetables to his neighbors. His neighbors would say he speaks to his flowers because they bloomed so beautifully each year. He was a very gentle and kind person who gave so much of himself to so many. He loved well, and he was well loved. He will be greatly missed, and he will always be in our hearts in loving memory.

A visitation for Frank will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223. Funeral mass to be celebrated on Thursday at St. Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church. Entombment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
