It is with heavy hearts that the family of Giuseppe Fronda announces his passing on September 22, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Giuseppe immigrated to America in 1963 from Mola di Bari, Italy, and immediately fell in love with the land of opportunity. He embraced his new life wholeheartedly and began a remarkable journey.
In 1964, he found the love of his life, Anna, and they embarked on a lifelong adventure together. They built a beautiful family as Giuseppe worked tirelessly as a longshoreman for many years, dedicating himself to the demanding work of the docks. His strong work ethic and dedication earned him the respect of his colleagues, and he finally retired in the late 1990s, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and determination.
In retirement, Giuseppe pursued the passions that brought him the greatest joy: fishing, gardening, and traveling. His love for the sea never waned, and he reveled in the opportunity to explore the world on cruise ships, where the endless horizon mirrored the boundless possibilities he saw in life.
However, Giuseppe's true happiness was found in the company of his family and friends. He cherished moments spent with his loved ones, creating lasting memories that will be treasured for generations.
Giuseppe is survived by his beloved wife Anna, his sons Michael Fronda, Vito Fronda (Jacqueline Fronda), and Frank Fronda (Caroline Fronda); his daughter Theresa Farganis (Thomas Farganis) and his five grandchildren: Topher Fronda, Jessica Fronda, Sebastian Farganis, Juliet Farganis, and Victoria Fronda. Together, they will carry forward his legacy of love, pride, and unwavering family values.
Join us in honoring a remarkable man who touched the hearts of all who knew him and whose spirit will forever sail on in our cherished memories.
