My condolences to the Pontebbi family. We all grew up together on Fingerboard Road and John was a sweetheart. He always managed to make me laugh even when I was having a crap day.  I saw him just before covid hit at Bay Street Tavern where we hung out and played catch up.  It was a good night and Im glad we spent that time together.  Rest easy John and may God watch over your boys and your

John was a great person with a big heart. I’m sorry to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to his family. May they be filled with love and joy from the memories they have of him. ♥️♥️♥️

I miss you so much. Mom tells me your at peace and after you shared all your feelings with me I hope you are at peace. I love you uncle John.

John was the most caring gentle compassionate man ever to come into our lives. Without him I would NEVER have been able to grant my husband's wish to come home instead of hospice. John will forever hold a piece of my heart. I pray he finds his sunshine. Love and miss you John. May God grant us all peace at this devastating time.
