She graduated from St. Saviour's HS in Brooklyn and the Berkeley Business School.

She was pre-deceased by her parents Joseph Joyce of County Galway, Ireland and Delia Gipsey of County Mayo, Ireland, her sisters Margaret Killian, Marie Joyce, Veronica Joyce and her brother Edmund, and her niece Elizabeth S. She is survived by her brother Joseph, and her sister Helen Buckheit...her nephews Timothy J.(Beth) of San Francisco, CA., Joseph F. of Clifton, NJ and niece Laura J.(Marco) Chapas of Union City, NJ...and an aunt to cousins, grandnephews and grandnieces.

Theresa worked as an executive secretary for major corporations in NYC...Colgate-Palmolive, GE, RCA, St. John's University as secretary to the Dean of the Law School, and NBC where she was the executive assistant to the President & CEO.

A visitation for Theresa will be held Monday, April 8, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Joseph G. Duffy, 255 Ninth Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215. A visitation will occur Monday, April 8, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 255 Ninth Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215. A mass of christian burial will occur Tuesday, April 9, 2024

at 9:30 AM at Church of Saint Saviour, 611 8th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11215. A committal service will occur Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at approximately 11:00 AM at Green-Wood Cemetery, 500 25th St., Brooklyn, NY 11232.
