Mrs. Annunziata (Ciccone) Barile

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Annunziata (Ciccone) Barile on September 19th, 2025, at the age of 98. She was born on January 26, 1927, in Macchiagodena, Italy and she immigrated to Canada with her young family in 1964.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was very proud to have five generations of family surrounding her. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Cosmo, and her daughter, Incoronata.

She is survived by her two sons Giovanni (Concetta), Matteo (Nella), (Dawn Marie) and her son in law Nicola; her 9 grandchildren Domenica, Giovanna (Yves), Cosmo, Laura (Patrick), Carolyn, David (Melissa), Amanda (Lino), Mike (Angela) and Michael (Rosanna); 15 great-grandchildren Melissa (Nicholas), Vanessa, Leonard, Erica, Sienna, Eva, Joey, Matteo, Angelo, Luca, Sofia, Gemma, Myla, Brandon and Jordan; her great-great granddaughter, Olivia; her niece Angiolina and nephew Benedetto and their families.

Annunziata loved cooking for her family more than anything. She blessed them with many Sunday pasta lunches and many Italian traditions. She leaves an immense void in our lives and will be deeply missed. She will forever live on in our memories. Ti voglio bene Ma, Nonnina, Bis-Nonna per sempre. Rest in Peace.

Visitation will be held at La Maison Darche, 7679 boul. Taschereau, Brossard, J4Y 1A2, on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 10am-12pm, 2pm-5pm and 7pm-10pm and on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 9am-10am. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday September 30, 2025 at Madre dei Cristiani Church, 7935 rue Lefebvre, Lasalle, H8N 2A9, followed by burial at Le Repos Saint-François d’Assise cemetery.
