Robert was the late husband of Noreen Torrance (nee Sullivan), son of Robert Torrance Sr. and Elizabeth McPhee, brother of Ronny Torrance, the late Gail Torrance, and Pat Torrance of Verdun. Uncle to Jacqueline Lecompte of Toronto and Lise Lecompte of Beaconsfield.
Robert worked at Canadian Vickers as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst for 29 years. He was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus, as well as a Grand Knight. He was also an honorary member of the Fourth Degree.
The family will receive condolences on May 22 at 10:00 a.m. at La Maison Darche.
At 12 pm, funerals will take place at Good Shepherd Church.
The burial will follow at Cemetery Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to plant a tree.
