Arturo G Medina

Arturo was born in Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico, but was a lifelong resident of Brownsville. He was a local legend in the field of land surveying, had an insatiable appetite for the outdoors, and was notorious for his riotous humor and storytelling, He was a family man, a husband, and our best friend. Arturo will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Arturo is survived by his loving wife of 42 years: Elizabeth Medina; his children: Arturo Medina (Monica), Jaclyn Arlene Medina (Richard), Amanda Lauren Guerra (David) and Abrielle Michelle Medina; his sisters: Maria Candelaria Medina, Maria French (Mike) and Norma Alicia Eddins (Ricky); his grandchildren: Larsaren, Laila, Logan, Madeleine, Liam, Lucille, Johnny, Luke, Isaac and Elijah.

Arturo was preceded in death by his parents: Tiburcio R. Medina † and Celia Pumarejo Medina †; his sisters: Maria Josefina Castro † and Arcelia Loredo †.

A visitation for Arturo will be held Monday, August 19, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a Rosary at 7 pm in Chapel of Angels, at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM in Chapel of Angels, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521. A burial will occur Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
