Berta Alaniz Lopez, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

Berta is survived by her sons Gilbert Lopez, Hector Lopez, David Lopez, Richard Lopez and her Saul Lopez; her grandchildren Christopher Lopez, Leandro Lopez III, Dave Lopez, Luis Lopez and Alexsis Lopez.

Berta was preceded in death by her husband Leandro Lopez †; her son Leandro Lopez Jr. †.

A visitation for Berta will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at

6:00 PM in Chapel of Peace at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A chapel service will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 9:00 AM in Chapel of Peace at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. Followed by a burial at 10:00 AM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX.
