Carlos C. Garza, Sr., 73, of 1659 W. San Marcelo Blvd, died April 8, 2010 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville at 1:45pm. He was an electrician with John Olive Electric and Eldridge Electric from 1965 to 2002.
He was preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Garza; mother, Rosa Coronado Garza; brothers Victor C. Garza, Jose Guadalupe and Macario C. Garza; sisters, Micaela C. Garza and Maria G. Moreno.
He is survived by his wife, Gregoria Garza; sons, Jose Alfredo, Carlos and Victor Garza; 5 grandchildren; brother, Cecilio Garza; sisters, Rita Alvarado and Herminia Garza.
Visitation will be held from 12pm to 9pm on Sunday, April 11, 2010 with a prayer service at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
A chapel service will be held at 1pm on Monday, April 12, 2010 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Full military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 43 Veterans Honor Guard.
