Daniel was a hard worker, known for being a gentleman, a kind soul who always cared for others. He had a deep faith in God. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, especially his nephews and nieces who he had a special bond with.
Daniel is survived by his loving mother, Alfonsina Valdez, and his siblings, Santiago Valdez, Roy Valdez, and Valentina De Luna (Jesse).
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Valdez †, and his sister, Olivia Martinez †.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, located at 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas, 78521, on January 13, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will take place at the same venue on January 13, 2026, at 7:00 pm.
A Mass will be held at St Eugene de Mazenod, located at 5409 Austin Rd, Brownsville, Texas, 78521, on January 14, 2026, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park, located at 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas, 78521, on January 14, 2026, at 11:00 am.
