

Mr. Leal was a lifelong resident of Brownsville, Texas. He lived a long, hard working and healthy life accompanied always by his loving wife of over 62 years. Mr. Leal loved all outdoor activities and hobbies and always enjoyed watching baseball and boxing events, as well as part taking in all of his numerous grandchildren’s activies.
Mr. Leal is preceded in death by his parents, Nicolas and Elena Leal Lozano; and his sister, Josefa Leal.
Enrique is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Hercilia Leal; children, Elena Leal, Isidro Enrique (Myrna) Leal, Martha Leal, Jose Alex (Martha) Leal, Terry Leal, Marie C. Leal, and Hercilia (Daniel) Youngblood; twelve grandchildren, Edwin Gutierrez, Orlando Gutierrez, Enrique Leal III, Rocio Marisol Leal, Myrna Mariel Leal, Jose Alejandro Leal, Gabriela Leal, Eric M. Perez, Andrea A. Perez, Dante Daniel Ruiz, Sebastian Youngblood, and Julian Youngblood; and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 11:00a.m. to 9:00p.m.with a Rosary to be conducted at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Mass will be held Friday, October 31, 2014 at 10:00a.m. at Saint Mary, Mother of the Church (1914 Barnard St.), followed by committal service at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Serving as Pallbearers will be his son, Jose Alex Leal; and his grandchildren, Alex Leal, Dante Ruiz, Enrique Leal III, and Eric M. Perez.
The Leal family would like to thank the entire staff of Brownsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Nursing Home for their dedicated and loving care of over five years to our beloved husband, dad, and grandfather.
