Her passion was serving her Heavenly Father, reading the word of GOD, ministering and praying for others.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Maria Newell; brothers, Joseph and Clarence Newell; sister, Elizabeth Benson; husband, Robert Duarte.
Mrs. Newell Duarte is survived by her son, Robert Newell Duarte; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 3 pm to 9pm with a prayer service at 7pm on Friday July 1, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Chapel Service will be held at 10 am at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista on Saturday July 2, 2011, followed by a committal service at Buena Vista Burial Park.
