Frances, as many knew her,was born to Isaac and Maria L. Saldaña on October 27, 1930. She was a lifetime resident of Brownsville, Texas. She accomplished much in life against all odds: family, education, and lastly her battle with cancer. She attended Texas Southmost College and attained her certificate in Early Childhood Development. She was employed by BISD then continued to be a migrant worker for Green Giant, Pillsbury, and Seneca Foods until retired. She gave a good fight to the very end, feisty, brave, courageous, and her beauty gleamed as the Lord made His Way. Although you will leave a void in many lives, you will fill the heavens with much joy and send God’s love to all your loved ones left behind until we meet again.
