Mr. Molina was born in Laredo, Texas on April 12, 1948 to Hilda † and Santos Molina, Jr †. He was a lifelong resident of Brownsville. He was proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps having served in Vietnam, 1967-1971. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and of the American Legion. He was a long-time employee of Southwestern Bell, and a rancher, as were his father and ancestors. His favorite pastime, besides spending time with family and friends, was hunting. He and his friends and family hunted at San Pablo Ranch, Webb County, Texas. Mr. Molina enjoyed reading the daily newspaper and every Sunday he would solve the crossword puzzle.
He leaves behind to cherish wonderful memories, his wife of over 50 years, Grace Molina; two daughters: Sandra (Brian O’Donovan) of Austin and Noemi Molina of McAllen; grandchildren: Sean, Gavin, Nathaniel, Lillian, and Bella; and great-grandchildren: Olivia and Mathis. Also, his siblings: Norma (Alfredo Zapata, Jr.), Cristina (Adelaido Martinez, Jr.), both of Corpus Christi, and Mario Molina, Sr. (Inelda) of Brownsville, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Semper Fi, Marine!
