Jose Manuel Castro

Everyone knew him as "grandpa". He was always involved with the twins in softball. He loved to fish, be with his family, and especially loved to joke around with everyone. He will be missed by his loved ones.

Jose is survived by his wife, Barbarita Castro; his son Robert Castro (Maria); and his son Dand Castro; his daughter Brenda Mendez (Gustavo), his daughter Laura Castro, his daughter Susana Castro, his grandchild Alexandria, his grandchild Alexis, his grandchildren Trinity, his grandchildren Patrick, his grandchild Allison, his grandchild Isaac, his grandchild Joey, his grandchild Eli, his grandchild Dylan, his grandchild Mariah and his grandchild Catalina.

Jose was preceded in death by his father Faustino Castro † and his mother Juanita Rodriguez †; his sister Aurora Arkins †.

He is also survived by his brothers, sisters and nephews

A visitation for Jose will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7pm in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
