Mr. Escalante is survived by his loving wife, Ernestina F. Escalante; five children, Ivonne (Alonso) Escalante, Laura L. Escalante, Jose Manuel Escalante Jr., Jesus Ramon Escalante, and Manoella Escalante; two sisters, Guadalupe Escalante and Esperanza Escalante; brother, Jesus Escalante; and ten grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 10:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary to be conducted at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Mass will be held Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 2:00p.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church located on 2800 Rockwell, followed by committal service at Buena Vista Burial Park.
