So sad to just have learned of Dr. Jones' passing.  My grandparents lived right behind his office and often spoke with them on breaks or walked over to treat them when they were too ill.  He delivered most of my siblings and treated 4 generations of my family.  Always had a smile and never was grumpy.  Great doctor and an even greater man.  

My prayers to the Jones family.  I am sure you must miss him dearly.

I regret that I am just now seeing this, some 3 months after Uncle Lee Dale passed away.  Please know how very special both he and his precious wife Mary were to me.

To the Jones Family:  I so loved and appreciated Dr. Jones.  I remember the times in Sunday School where he'd get us to memorize Scripture passages and his leading us boys in some songs before going into our lessons.  He made S.S. fun and interesting.  He blessed our entire family with his medical care up until his retirement.  I appreciate his faithfulness to the things of God and his faith in Christ.  I pray the Lord's comfort, peace and strength as you go through this time of sadness.  He is faithful to those who love Him, and He will see you through!  Psalm 23; Psalm 116:15; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14  All my love!!

I am so sad to hear of Dr. Jones passing. My condolences to all of your family.  He is the only doctor that I enjoyed going to see as a child, I am the third generation in my family to visit him.  My grandmother Hazel Goode considered him a friend in addition to visiting him as a patient.

Dr. Jones was a wonderful physician!  I did not mind at all when my mom would take me.  He would enter the room whistling very happy!  He loved to take care of his patients.  I grew up and continue seeing him and took my little ones.  Now, he is in paradise enjoying a new Life.

So I asked him about that the first time he said another book was his favorite, and he looked at me and smiled because I remembered he had said it was John's, so from that day on, he would look at me with a smile before he said the book in turn was his favorite. He got a kick out of saying that each book was his favorite, but always went back to the book of John as his most favorite. Our community has lost a great man who gave so much of himself to serve others for his love of Christ. Many tears are shed for you, dear Dr. Jones and you will be missed a lot, but you have earned a place in Heaven for sure, and a special place in the hearts of the many people whose lives you touched. Dr. Jones touched my life in so many different ways. He Treated my broken bones when I was a child. He also gave me guidance in my spiritual walk as a young man and husband. I was truly blessed to know him. My condolences to the Jones family.

Dr. Jones delivered my wife and cared for her even after we married. He took care of
our boys also. He and Dr. Keeble had a wonderful staff, it was one big happy family affair, patients included.

May his memories help heal his loved ones, just remember you are not alone, we all lost a loved one in Dr. Jones.

Since my wife and I have no relatives here in Brownsville,it was difficult starting our family here. However,it was 
Dr. Jones and his wife, Mary, along with all the family at Central Christian Church who made us feel like we belonged here. It was the true love of Jesus Christ that Dr. Jones and his wife have always shown us and kept us encouraged to continue our walk with Christ here in Brownsville. We are now here raising three beautiful children and thankful for his influence in doing so.

He was a pillar to the Church at Central Christian, as well as the Community of Brownsville.  We look forward to seeing you in Glory Dr. Jones, you have finally finished the race! Thank you for the example of being a true servant-leader.

Such a wonderful and caring doctor. He was the best in town. He delivered me and my siblings, always cheerful and very caring with us when we were little. He will be greatly missed by so many. My condolences to his wife and children - Dr. Jones truly had a heart of gold.

Dr Jones was my family doctor when I was young and he would always have to deal with 4 little girls that were so scared because they knew they would be getting shots.  We used to run around the room in fear and he and his nurses had to catch us.  But he never was upset or frustrated!  He was truly giving and a very loving Doctor! I was one of his therapists at STRH.  From the first time I met him, I knew he was a joker.  Told me some great jokes during treatment and even gave me good life addvice.
