Mr. Frausto was a Korean War veteran.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Catalina “Katy” Frausto; sister, Guadalupe Peña and brother, Raul Frausto.
He is survived by his son, Luis Frausto, Jr.; daughter, Elvia De Leon (Lupe); sons, Jaime Frausto (Linda), and Noe Frausto (Norma Jean); 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 3 brothers and a sister.
Visitation was held from 10am to 9pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 2800 Rockwell Dr., Brownsville, Texas with a committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Noe Frausto, Evan Frausto, Jaime Frausto, Kevin Frausto, Lupe Perez, Jimmy Frausto, Aaron Frausto, and Pete Guzman.
