Manuel Paredes Sr.

He was a Vietnam Veteran and Desert Storm Veteran. Mr. Paredes also worked for 18 years at Marathon and 7 years at Norton.

He is preceded in death by his father, Miguel Angel Paredes; mother, Maria Guadalupe Hernandez; brother, Miguel Paredes; sisters, Maria Guadalupe Lerma, Maria del Rosario Dunne, Paubla Taboada; brothers, Adolfo Paredes and Marcos Paredes.

He is survived by wife, Esperanza Paredes; son, Manuel Paredes Jr.; daughters, Myra Paredes and Idalia Paredes; grandchild Viviana Arroyo; sisters, Francis Garibay and Maria De La Luz Moody; brother, Martin Paredes.

Visitation will be held from 2:30 pm to 10pm with a holy rosary at 7:30pm on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

A Mass will be on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 2pm at Christ the King Catholic Church, 2255 Southmost Rd. committal service will follow to at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be Eliseo Falcon, Esteban Paredes, Marcos Paredes Jr., Miguel Angel Paredes, Hector Lerma, Santiago Moody Jr., Jose Luis Moody and Antonio Garibay.
