Margarita was a lively and lovely wife, mother, and grandmother. In several cases, she was both mother and grandmother, especially to her grandchildren Carolina and Juan, who will always remember and love her for eternity.
She was the pillar of the family and was full of resilience, laughter, happiness, and love. She never failed to laugh or make someone laugh alongside her. She loved being surrounded by her plants and was full of joy whenever her flowers bloomed, never hesitating to show her plants to all. She was an animal lover and enjoyed having her cats next to her.
She not only left happy memories to her family but also to friends and acquaintances as everywhere she walked, someone always recognized her and reached out to talk. Margarita, Mague, Mami, Maguito and Welita, as she was known, will be remembered fondly and with love, forever.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Miguel Vigil, and her loving daughters, Carolina Alvarez, Nereida Mejia, and Diana Vigil. Margarita was also a proud grandmother to Carolina Alvarez, Juan Alvarez, Carlos Andres Esquivel, Jason Esquivel, Joey James Rodriguez, Brianna Mejia, and Emilio Mejia, and a great-grandmother to Nayeli Rey Esquivel, Nina Lee Esquivel, Leonardo Esquivel, and Maia Aurora Peña. She will be fondly remembered by her nephew, Ricky Ramos, and her son-in-law, Juan A. Mejia Jr.
Margarita was preceded in death by her parents, Estanislada Gutierrez and Julio Ramos, her sisters, Paulina Ramos, Ramona Padron, and Otilia Sauceda, and her brothers, Bernardino Ramos, Francisco Ramos, and Ramiro Ramos.
