Maria Angela Amaya

Mrs. Amaya loved to sing and was a seamstress.

Maria is survived by her children: Jesus Amaya (Rosanely), Rosario Amaya, Bertha Alicia Reyes (Jose Luis) and Marisela Leija (Jose Luis).

Maria was preceded in death by her spouse: Jesus Amaya Sr. †; her parents: Bartolome Castro † and Veronica Castro †.

Mrs. Amaya also left behind 13 Grandkids and 13 Greatgrands to cherish her memory.

A visitation for Maria will be held Monday, March 10, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 12:00 AM with a Prayer Service at 7 pm in Chapel of Angels, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM in Chapel of Angels, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A burial will occur Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX.
