Maria Garza, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away surrounded by the love and prayers of her family. Her life was rooted in faith, family, and the simple joys that made every day meaningful.
As a wife, Maria was a steady and caring partner, offering unconditional love and support. As a mother, she guided her children with strength, wisdom, and compassion. As a grandmother, she found her greatest happiness in spending time with her beloved granddaughters, showering them with affection, encouragement, and gentle guidance.
Maria had a special gift in the kitchen. She expressed her love through cooking and baking, preparing meals and sweet treats that brought her family together around the table. Her recipes were filled not only with flavor, but with warmth and tradition.
Her faith was the foundation of her life. Maria found peace and strength in prayer and devoted time each day to reading her Bible. Her quiet devotion and trust in God were an inspiration to all who knew her.
Maria’s home was a place of comfort, faith, and love. Her kindness, nurturing spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she touched.

Maria is survived by her children, Josue I. Garza, Eunice Zamora, and David J. Garza; her sister, Mirna Maricela Ramirez Quintanilla; her brother, Jose Antonio Ramirez Quintanilla; and her granddaughters, Rihanna Jayne Garza and Sarah Abilene Zamora.
She was predeceased by her husband, Juan Garza; her father, Jose A. Ramirez Arriaga; and her mother, Elida Quintanilla Rodriguez.
A visitation will be held on February 19, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, located at 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521.
A Chapel service will take place on February 20, 2026, from 12:00 pm followed by a burial at 1:00 PM pm at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mc. Davitt Blvd,Brownsville, Tx. 78521.
