

Martina Mendoza Morales, beloved wife of 54 years to Roberto Arnoldo Morales Sr., and beloved mother to 4 children, 53, 50, 23 and 22, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home on November 26th 2025, leaving a void her family cannot fill.
She was born in Decatur, Indiana to Jose and Maria Nieves (Lopez) Mendoza. Martina attended Belmont High school in Decatur, Indiana before attending Vocational School earning her degree. She retired from the Brownsville ISD after serving 32 years of service in the Food Service Department.
Martina was a devoted mother to Amada Elena Morales of Houston Tx. grandsons Joe Matthew Alvarez and Felipe dela Fuente, Roberto Arnoldo and Carla Tobias Morales Jr. of Houston Tx. granddaughters Chloe T. and Carle T. Morales, Christopher C. Morales of Brownsville, Tx. and Destiny Reyna of Brownsville, Tx. She always said their birth changed her life for the better, and they felt that in the love and support she provided.
Martina was preceded in death by Jose and Maria Nieves Mendoza, Jose Mendoza, Juan “Johnny” Mendoza, Lupe Mendoza Seip, Mary Mendoza, Faustino “Benji” Mendoza , and is survived by siblings Amado and Kim Mendoza, Martin Mendoza, Tony Mendoza, Carmen Mendoza and Teresa Mendoza who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
Martina also had many nephews, nieces, and Godsons who will miss the love and support.
