

Olivia Saldivar Ochoa, 72, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 in Brownsville, Tx. She is preceded in death by her husband the LOVE of her life, Gilberto Ochoa. Her parents: Cliserio and Maria del Refugio Saldivar. Siblings: Gilberto, Angelita, Maria Elena, and Celso Saldivar. Olivia S. Ochoa is survived by her children, which she dedicated all her life to them with lots of LOVE and tenderness. There was not one thing she wouldn't do for them. They were her everything. Delicia Ochoa-Garcia (Jaime), Gilberto Ochoa Jr., (Benadita), Leticia Ochoa-Munoz (Ernest) Alberto Ochoa. Her grandchildren: Delicia Ann Cruz (Adrian), Jennifer Garcia (Oscar) Jade Ochoa, Matthew Munoz, Brianna Ochoa, Jaclyn Garcia, Kailey Munoz, and Destiny Garcia. Great grandchildren; Alessandra Ochoa-Stewart, Izdarely Cruz, and Jeremiah James Garcia, they all were the apple of her eye, her pride and joy in which she cared for each and every one in a very special way. Her siblings: Aurora Rodriguez (Victor), Otila Martinez (Jose), Guadalupe Iracheta (Francisco), Juan Antonio Saldivar (Alicia), and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Matthew Munoz, Ernest Munoz, Jaime Garcia, Rick Rodriguez, Juan Antonio Saldivar, and Jose Soria. Olivia was an amazing woman, one of a kind. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was the heart and soul of the family, very out going, loving, and caring for everyone's well being. She kept and taught us all to be united. She would go out of her way to help out in any way she could. She was always cheerful and ready to cook for everyone, She had an awesome taste for cooking; she would literally cook different things for each one or drive to several fast food restaurants to please her children and grandkids. She worked for Levis St. for over 20 years. Her passion was going to the Casino (gambling),.... Taking a drive to the maquinitas with her partners in crime and usually getting home around 6:00 in the morning. She had lots of friends and loved to play lotteria with them. She loved to watch her Mexican novelas while crocheting. Romans 10:9- If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord" an believe in your heart that GOD raised him from the dead, you will be Saved. Visitation will begin Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 12pm to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm.
