Raquel Y Lucio, age 88, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025.

Raquel is survived by her daughter Guadalupe Escamilla; her son Modesto Yado (Gloria); her son Martin Yado; and her daughter Laura Lucio.

She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren.

A visitation for Raquel will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521. Visitation will continue Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. Followed by a burial at 11:00 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521.
