Roberto T. Perez

Roberto T. Perez, 95 of Brownsville went to his eternal rest with the Lord on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Memory Care of Westover Hills in San Antonio, Tx with his loving family by his side. Mr. Perez served in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sgt. in the 503rd Paratroop Division during WWII. He was a two time Purple Heart Recipient. He was a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, School of Pharmacy. He was a Pharmacist for 68 years. He is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Viola C. Perez. He is survived by 2 brothers, Julian and Carlos (Aurora) Perez; 4 daughters, Hilda (Arturo) Gonzalez San Antonio, Tx. Olga (Philip) White Leander, Tx. Alice (Rod) Brisco, Oklahoma City, Ok. Corinne (Roger) Smith, Flower Mound, Tx. Seven grandchildren Angela Lopez, Jennifer Caldwell, Robert Horn, Christine Horn, Alexis Yarbrough, Courteney (Zach) Welton, Jarrett (Casey) Smith; eight great-grandchildren, Justin, Patrick, Arianna (Jeff), Gavin, Morgan, Blaine, Asher, Everett, two great great-grandchildren, Dominic and Cole and by several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Arturo Gonzalez, Philip White, Rod Brisco, Roger Smith, Jarrett Smith and Robert Horn. Visitation will begin Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista. Chapel Service will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 10:00 am at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista followed by Burial to Buena Vista Burial Park.
