

She was born on August 24, 1953, in El Salvador and later made her home in Brownsville, Texas, where she built a life centered on family, resilience, and joy.
Roselia was known for her adventurous spirit and her love of experiencing life to the fullest. She found happiness in traveling, trying new things, and never hesitated to indulge in a little excitement—especially when it came to outings and the thrill of gambling. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, particularly her grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and joy.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Daniel Hermojenes Guerra Hernandez; her loving daughters, Ana Zapata, Marlene Roiz, Iris Hernandez, Sandy Hernandez, Rosa Woodruff, Daniela Hernandez, and Arely Karina Hernandez; her sons, Roberto Hernandez and Raul Hernandez; as well as 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren who will continue to carry her memory forward.
Roselia’s warmth, strength, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on April 20, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 McDavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521. A Funeral Mass will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Cathedral, 1218 E Jefferson St, Brownsville, TX 78520. Burial will take place afterward at 3:00 p.m. at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 McDavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521.
Her legacy of love, courage, and joyful living will remain in the hearts of her family forever.
