Ruth Salcedo

She was a mother, grandmother, loving sister and loyal friend. Even though death left an enormous heartache behind that no one can heal, she has left so many memories that no one can steal.

Ruth was dedicated in teaching and was a mentor to the community leaving a mark as a social worker.

She was loyal to her friends and family whom she was willing to always lend a hand. She especially cherished her grandchildren along with her other family members. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria de Jesus Ramirez.

She is survived by her only daughter, Anna Cecilia Salcedo (Jose Santana); father, Jose Ramirez; sisters, Rosalinda Perez, Leticia Y. Gamboa(Jesus), Maria Magdalena Treviño(Guillermo), Maria Susana Abell (John) and Griselda Ramirez (Martin Bueno); brothers, Juan David Ramirez, Pedro (Guadalupe)Ramirez, Jose Maria (Marina) Ramirez, Alejandro Ramirez, Javier Ramirez and Eduardo Ramirez; granddaughters, Itati Monserrat Santana, Brianna Arlette Santana and Divanté Santana; numerous nieces, nephews, godsons, goddaughters, a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12pm to 9pm with a rosary to be recited at 7pm on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

A chapel service will be held at 2pm on Friday, July 16, 2010 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista
