

Tony Lapaglia, Sr., 88, of Bryan passed away Saturday, August 14, 2010 at his home. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan with a rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, August 19, at 10 a.m. St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Reverend Patrick Ebner officiating. Interment will follow
at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Tony Lapaglia Sr. was born August 27, 1921 in Livingston, Montana to Tony G. and Rosalia Lapaglia. He was a first generation Italian American and a veteran of World War II. He touched many lives in his 88 years. Tony was a widower for 10 years, a brother, a father, a grandfather, and a great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his
wife, of 55 years, Minnie Caronia; his parents; sister, Mary Ann Feltner; son, Ronnie Lapaglia; and brothers, Carsodonia and William Lapaglia. Survivors include his sons Tony Jr. and wife, Toni Lapaglia, of Bryan, Philip and wife,Teresa Bryan, Philip and wife,Teresa Lapaglia, of Bryan; daughter, Louise and husband, Jerry Shoemaker, of Bryan; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
