

Anton Sikorski, Jr., 72, passed away Wednesday morning October 27, 2010 at his home in Bryan. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday October 28 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday October 29 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan with Msgr. John McCaffrey officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Junior Sikorski was born April 22, 1938 in Brazos to County Virgie Olexey and Anton J. Sikorski, Sr. He was a lifetime resident of Bryan and was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was Honorary Member, and a 3rd Degree Honorary Life Member of the Knights of Columbus Msgr. Gleissner Council 1834. He was a truck driver for over 56 years and retired after 38 years of services to Alenco and Ryder.
Junior was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Barbara Sikorski, and two brothers, Edward and Raymond Sikorski.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Doris Swenson Sikorski of Bryan; step-daughter, Pam Barnett and her husband Bo of Galveston; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Christine and Buck Kindt, and Dorothy Berry of Bryan; two grandchildren, Katina Hargett and her husband Tedd, and Kenneth Mendez; three great-grandchildren, Trace, Isabella, and Abby; one niece and four nephews.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Calvary Cemetery
