

Ben G. Arevalo Jr., was born on January 12, 1944 the son of Ben G. and Estela (Galindo) Arevalo in Burleson County. On February 2, 2022 at the age of 78 our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle left us to be with our Heavenly Father.
Bennie, as he was known by everyone grew up with his ten siblings and attended Cooks Point School. As a young boy, he enjoyed fishing and hunting with his father and brothers. In later years he truly enjoyed spending time with his family.
Ben worked at Alenco for many years and later worked for Brazos County where he retired after many years of service. After retirement he spent his time fishing with his nephews, spending as much time as he could with grandchildren, watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys and watching NASCAR.
Ben will be missed by his sons, Able Arevalo and wife Rose, Ben Arevalo III; grandchildren, Anthony Story, Aston Arevalo, Logan Arevalo, Madilyn Arevalo; great-grandchild, Aubrie Arevalo-Narro; his siblings, Beatrice Perez and husband Adam, Lupe Alonzo, Jimmy Arevalo and wife Irene, Janie Martinez and husband Jesse, Margaret Munoz and husband Tommy, Estela McCartney and husband Forrest, Benjamin Arevalo and wife Tonya, and Maria Elena Arevalo; sisters-in-law, Adelina Arevalo and Martha Arevalo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ben will be reunited with his parents; son, Patrick Arevalo; brothers, Joe Arevalo and Paul Arevalo Sr.; and brother-in-law, Lorenzo Alonzo.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 1401 Rochester Street in Bryan.
