
She was born on February 12, 1942 in Ottawa, Illinois to the late Otha “Frank” and Stella “Peg” Foley.
Carol grew up in Ottawa, Illinois, and graduated Ottawa High School in 1960. In 1961 she married John Seibert. They lived in Illinois until 1969 when they moved to Texas.
Carol’s career path in Texas began with interior design at Williams’ Home Design. Many careers followed, bookkeeping with Coca-Cola Bottling Company, bookkeeping and business management at the Eagle, TAMU, St. Joseph Hospital, St. Joseph Manor and SARC.
Carol also became very involved with St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan, Texas. She participated in many roles including, the Traditional choir, the Bell choir, Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Pastoral Council, RCIA, Marriage Encounter, Clerical Endowment and Women’s Guild Advent by Candlelight.
She was also involved with City of Bryan bowling league and the Brazos Valley Chorale. She enjoyed reading, playing cards board games and crossword puzzles.
Carol is survived by her husband, John “Sonny” Seibert; daughters, Jennifer Royder, Jody and Jim Johnson, Julie Gough and Janelle Seibert; grandchildren, John Royder, Benjamin Walker, Taylor Tumlinson, Joseph Gargano, Megan (Jones) and Cheyenne Coker, Cody Jones, Katie and Christopher Gough; sisters, Pamela and Gary Ferguson and family, Sandra Hemann and family; brothers, Mark and Brad Foley.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Constance Sprague; brother-in-law, Glenn Hemann; son-in-law, Allen Gough; and Texas Grandma Susie Presnal.
Special thanks to the doctors, caregivers at Legacy, Century Home Care (Della and staff), Luminous Hospice, as well as her many friends that would come to visit.
