Carolyn Faye Reese

Carolyn Roberts Reese was born to William H "Buddy" and Edris Clark Roberts, on March 4th 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas. Carolyn entered Heaven's Gates on January 14th 2026.

Carolyn was married to Clyde Reese, they did not have children of their own; however, Carolyn was a foster parent. She was also an avid dog lover, and helped with animal rescues, she cared for many dogs over her lifetime.

Carolyn was a registered nurse working ICU at St Joseph Hospital for 30 years. She later became a nurse educator. She taught nursing at Blinn College in Bryan, Texas, where she inspired many students through the years. In her later years, when Carolyn was in the care of Lampstand nursing home, she was cared for by some of her ex-students.

She had one nephew, Greg Hilburn, and three nieces, Rebecca Nunez, Virginia Roberts, and Suzanna Roberts Puckey. She played a big role in their lives. She was so loved by her great nephews Lendon Hilburn Logan, and Cullen Nunez, and great niece, Ryan Hilburn. They all so adored their Aunt C.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents in 1991 and 1994. She is also preceded in death by her Husband Clyde Reese in November of 2005.

Carolyn is survived by her sister Beverly Roberts Kazmir of Caldwell, Texas, and her brother and sister-in-law Ron and Lisa Roberts of Shiner, Texas, and her nieces and nephews, as well as her aunt and uncle, Carolyn and David Perkins, and numerous loving cousins and friends.

Services For Carolyn will be at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan, Texas. Visitation for close friends and family from 12pm until 2p.m on Tuesday, January 27th, followed by the funeral service, which will be led by Minister Buster Clark at 2pm. Burial will follow the funeral service and will take place at Steep Hollow Cemetery, where Carolyn will be laid to rest next to her husband.

Carolyn was an incredible, loving, kindhearted, and inspirational woman to all who knew and loved her, and she loved family and friends unconditionally. She will be deeply missed.
