Charles Arthur Fontaine

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 2 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Charles was born in Youngstown, Ohio on October 5, 1943. He was the fourth of five children to Herman and Elaine Fontaine. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force. Charles was a quiet man. He often said, “God gave you two ears and one mouth, you should listen twice as much as you talk”. He believed in God, family hard work and being responsible for your actions.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda Fontaine; daughter, Dawn Renee Fontaine; and a brother, Boyd Fontaine.

He is survived by his daughters, Julia Johnson and Lisa L. Locke and husband Richard; son, Douglas Fontaine; sisters, Elaine McIntire and husband Gail, Yvonne Weber, Suzanne Norris and husband Jim; grandchildren, Joshua Wenger and wife Elvia, Angela Pemberton and husband David, Michael LeBeau, Cortney Stevenson and Brandi Webb; great-grandchildren, Joshua Charles Wenger, Victoria Wenger, Sarah Wenger, Jacob Pemberton, and Dylan Pemberton.
