Cornelia was born on March 14, 1932 in Brazos County the daughter of Thomas and Lou Ella (Holiday) Wilson. She worked at Texas A&M University while her husband, Ron was attending classes. They moved from Bryan in 1961 to Texas City and to Houston. Cornelia worked at Cameron Iron Works and Continental Oil Company while living in Houston. They moved back to Bryan in 1991 when Ron retired.
Cornelia was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church.
Cornelia is preceded in death by her parents; and husband Ron Britton.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Cathy Britton; granddaughter, Taylor Brock and her husband Austin, their children, Luken and Layla; grandson, Drake Britton and his wife Jackie, their children, Belle, Blake and Berkley; grandson, Chance Britton and his wife Ashlyn, their children, Truett and Elenor.
