

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Wallace home in Bryan. (You may reach out to the family for directions)
Jim was born April 28, 1957 in Rome, NY the son of Clifford and Ruth (Wymer) Wallace. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. After leaving the Navy, Jim continued to serve our Country as a Civil Servant of Federal & State agencies for an additional 30 years.
Jim was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a very simple, kind and generous man. He always wanting to help out the honest people. True friends in his life became his family. Jim loved his family more than anything and would do anything for them. He was a man of honor,
compassion and made everyone feel welcome. He was always the person that you could count on for help, advice, or just to be there to listen.
Jim loved to be active and being outdoors. He was always working on something or trying to fix something. Some of his hobbies included many years of racing dirt track, riding motorcycles and building things such as fire pits.
Jim is preceded in death by his sister, Linda; and a brother, James.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Helena Frances Wallace; son and daughter-in-law, James and Lena Wallace; daughter and son-in-law, April and Marcel Gresko Jr.; grandchildren, Sebastian, Dalton, Joshua, Haley, Chaeli and Malin; great-grandchildren, Rylan, Camryn, Oliver and Mason; brothers and sisters, Ralph, Eileen, Veronica, Daniel, Lee, Robin and Donna; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald house.
