Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, August 27, 2021 at Kurten Cemetery in Kurten with Charlie Ray officiating.
Leona was born in Kurten the daughter of Charlie and Emma (Schmidt) Schram of August 20, 1927. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1945 and then attended Business College.
Leona lived several years in Denver, Colorado where she was a member of the Eastern Star and Sierra Club and enjoyed hiking in the mountains. She moved back to Texas and retired from Tenneco in Houston. She was a longtime member of Zion Church of Kurten.
Leona is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John Schram, and Emmett Schram; sisters, Anna Watson and husband Edward, Cora Younger, Charlene Campbell and husband Harvey; brother-in-law, Albin Holubec.
She is survived by her sister, Lillian S. Holubec of Bryan and sister-in-law, Bernice Schram of Colorado; brother-in-law, Jimmie Younger of Kurten; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Jadlowski, Jared Jadlowski, Darin Valenta, Jacob Rakowitz, Jon Little and David Parker.
