Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 27 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan with Reverend Betty Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time Friday at the funeral home.
Linda was born January 18, 1942 in Jamestown, Ohio the daughter of Charles and Eloise (Miller) Beard. She was a strong Christian woman and loved to crochet, garden and decorate her home.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lois Beard; brothers, Charles Beard and James Beard.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Charles Fontaine; daughters, Julia Johnson and Lisa L. Locke and husband Richard; brothers, Larry Beard, Philip Beard and Thomas Beard; grandchildren, Joshua Wenger and wife Elvia, Angela Pemberton and husband David, Michael LeBeau, Cortney Stevenson and Brandi Webb; great-grandchildren, Joshua Charles Wenger, Victoria Wenger, Sarah Wenger, Jacob Pemberton, and Dylan Pemberton.
