

Louis Anthony Kologinczak, born June 12, 1919, in Bryan, Texas, died July 19, 2017, at the age of 98. Member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan; 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He loved dancing and polka music. Louis moved to Houston, married Martha Klodginski Cavender, and raised a family. After retiring, Louis and Martha moved to Bryan.
Preceded in death by Martha Kologinczak, his wife of 49 years; daughter, Juliana Kologinczak; step-son, Bernard Cavender; parents, Stanley and Julia Dominik Kologinczak; brothers, Frank, Victor, Joseph, Pete, and Stephen Kologinczak.
Survived by son, Joseph Kologinczak and wife Bernadette; daughter, Margaret May and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Angela Wright, Patrick Kologinczak and wife Michelle, Michael Kologinczak and wife Sue, Sarah May, Caryn May, step-granddaughter, Denise Cavender Gonzalez and husband Carlos; great-grandchildren, Brendan, Brianna and Tracie Wright, Cameron and Andrew Kologinczak, Ellis, Riley and Mia Kologinczak; step great-grandchildren Anthony, Thomas and Lena Gonzalez; brother-in-law, Richard Klodginski and wife Betty; Clara Cavender; and his longtime friend, Janet Krupa.
Visitation will be held from 4 - 6:30 PM. Monday, July 24 with a rosary service 6:30 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Christ The Good Shepherd Chapel, 600 South Coulter, Bryan, Texas 77802. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
