

Memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday October 11 at First Baptist Church in Bryan.
Marian was born September 9, 1928, to Tom and Ella Miner in McPherson, Kansas. She grew up in Kansas and graduated from Everest High School and Ottawa University.
She married Raymond Henry Cune on March 20, 1951. They had four children: Stuart Cune, Brad Cune, Gregg Cune, & Tamara Smith.
Marian taught school for 35 years in Montana, Wyoming, Kansas, and Texas. After retiring, she taught for two years at the Baptist Mission School in American Samoa.
After moving to Bryan in 1999 to be near her children and grand children she helped in establishing the Emanuel Baptist Church Women’s Mission.
Marian enjoyed attending First Baptist Church in Bryan, teaching, Bible studying, spending time with her domino buddies, and traveling.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ray, and two grandchildren Brittany Joy Cune and Brian Thomas Jordan Cune.
Survivors include her brother Warren Miner of Brooklyn, New York, sons Stuart Cune of Brentwood, California, Brad Cune of College Station, Texas, Gregg Cune of Conroe, Texas, and daughter Tamara Smith of Willis, Texas, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews in New York, Pennsylvania and Germany.
Marian will remain in our hearts and minds of her loving family and friends forever.
