

He was preceded in death by his parents; Kermit and Mary Hilda Naumann. Two brothers and their wives; Gayle (Billie) Naumann, Doyle (Jo) Naumann. His sister-in-law Carol Naumann, one of his nephews Kevin Naumann, and his great-niece Crystal Ballew.
Melvin leaves behind his wife, Carolyn Naumann, of 50 years and 7 months. His son August (Kim) Naumann of Magnolia, Texas. His daughter, Guin (Jeff) Glenn, of Hutto, Texas. His son Erik (Jaqulynn) Naumann of Iola, Texas. His grandchildren: Cody Gibson, Mandy Wyatt, Lindy Glenn, Nicholas (Maiah) Glenn, Mikaela (Corbin) Mitchell, Kendall (Michelle) Ehman, and Myles Naumann. His eleven great-grandchildren: Jaylinn, Jaxon, Isabelle, Brady, Hadison, Emerson, Boston, Rorie, Renly, Olivia and Andrea. He is also survived by two of his brothers, Billy Keith (Fran) Naumann of Austin, Texas and Sammy Naumann of Mansfield, Texas, as well as numerous Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.
Melvin grew up in Spicewood, Texas. He graduated from Marble Falls High School in 1962, and Texas A&M University in 1968. He worked as a Carpenter until he retired at the age of 62. His hobbies were watching Aggie football, gardening, woodworking, playing golf and crocheting. Each of his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many others have a hand crocheted blanket or item made lovingly for them by him.
