Patty Sue Pooley

On Monday, October 26, 2015 heavens doors were opened and Patty Sue Pooley entered ready to share eternity with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a very devoted wife, mother, sister and friend.

Her loving joy was shared by all she came into contact with and her wit, humor, and genuine love was evident in her daily life. Patty Sue Cunningham Pooley was born in Lockhart, Texas on April 30, 1928. She married the love of her life on August 2, 1946 and together they had four children.

Patty Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Carman Cunningham; and her husband, Louis B. Pooley.

She is survived by her brothers, Vernon Cunningham of Tucson, AZ. and Harley Cunningham of Arlington; her children, Nancy Moser and husband Tom of Brenham, Bea Hauser and husband Ralf of Bryan, Charles Pooley and wife Robin of Waco; Melinda Asher and husband Dennis of Bryan; eleven grandchildren, Pauline Bol of Kentucky, Mark Moser of Illinois, William Moser of Illinois, John Hauser of Louisiana, David Hauser of South Carolina, Tanya Wilson of Wyoming, Amber Tindell, Autumn Pooley, Ashley Rodrigues, Brian Asher and Denise Spears all of Texas; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 30 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Interment will be 4:30 p.m. Friday at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
