We are saddened and confused by the this wonderful person that that was taken from us. Hearing about what happened was one of those moments that just doesn't really sink in immediately. You can never really prepare yourself for losing somebody so special so soon. What we can do, is remember all of the great times and how bright everyone's lives were when she was laughing or smiling. We'll always have the memories and we'll always be thankful for the years we had with her.

Such an amazing cousin, daughter, mother and friend. She will be missed by all and everyone.

I work for Dr. Myrna Gallego and having just seen Jaime in the office last month, I was completely shocked and deeply saddened to learn that she had passed away. She was her usual self, smiling, happy and as always talking about her son.  Our office had the privilege of seeing Jaime through her pregnancy and got to know the wonderful person she was as well as share her joy in the birth of her son.  We were able to watch him grow as she always shared pictures of him on her regular visits to our office. Dr. Gallego is out of the country at the present time but I am certain she will be as deeply saddened as I am to learn of Jaime's passing. All of us here will miss her and our prayers and heartfelt sympathy go out to all of her family.

Jaime, you were a bright and shining light It was such a pleasure to know you. Our warm thoughts to your family and close friends. You are loved by all and will be greatly missed.

My heart broke when I read about Jaime in the paper on Sunday.  We were roommates at Buffalo State during our freshman year of college.  Although it was only a few months, we spent so much time together, it seemed like years.  We experienced a lot & had really great times with one another – that's for sure!  A few years out of school we lost touch, I hadn't spoken to her in quite some time.  I know that if I had seen her – it would have been like we'd never been apart.  Sadly, it turns out we only lived about 5 miles from one another and didn't even know it...  

Jaime – Your infectious smile and laugh will never be forgotten.  I will forever cherish our time together.  I love you girlfriend!

Jaime - I felt your smile yesterday as the sun shone a beam of light down to earth from the sky.  It was almost like you were with me.  Immediately I heard your voice saying "Hi Peanut!" as you did so often with Natalie and I could not help but to smile.  I think of how life has changed in a single moment and still wonder how life will be without you.  I will forever wonder.  It will certainly never be the same.  Please keep close watch over Nicholas and Willy.

I have been debating writing on here but I know you LOVED the site that we have for Grandma Lill so I know you would want me to. I can't even begin to tell you how much I miss you! You were an amazing daughter, sister, mother, friend and nurse.  You gave everything and everyone all of you and all of your heart, without hesitation.  Your smile.....it was BEAMING and it made everyone around you smile and feel loved.  Your humor....well, lets just say you and I could laugh at anything and everything for hours...actually, some of the same things for years!  I can't sum up all of the wonderful things about you and the amazing person you were on here but those are some things I wanted to share.  I hope you can see and feel how much you ARE loved and you will NEVER be forgotten.  I will do everything I can to make sure Nicholas knows how much he was your world, the love of your life and your everything! 
We made up a saying when we were little that we now say with our kids every night…..I am going to say it to you because I don't remember the last time I did……Whatever I say, Whatever I do, I will ALWAYS love you!!

I am in shock and devastated at the loss of darling Jaime; the effervescent, spirited, happy young woman I saw in my office almost daily during her high school years at Webster Schroeder. She was my student and I her School Counselor, but she became something much more...a sweet dear friend who made me laugh until I cried. My sweet memories of this gorgeous brunette are of how she adored Carissa and loved her mother so much...her mom who loved "cashew patties" just like me.  Many a snowy night I drove her home and we hugged. This is one person, one very special student I will never, ever forget.  Jaime emailed about a year ago at school with pictures of her pride and joy, Nicholas. We planned to do lunch -- because again we had a connection and so many things to catch up on.  My love and prayers and sincere sympathy to her family. Seeing that beautiful smile in the paper brings tears to my eyes. Godspeed sweet Jaime.  You brought such joy to so many, including me
