Continuing to lift our family and friends in prayer as we honor and cherish the memory of Uncle Billy.  I will always remember that even through his pain, he still had a sense of humor and made us smile.  There is comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain, and his soul is at rest.

Uncle Billy... I remember the one song he enjoyed playing, Green Onions. Each time I hear that song I fondly think of him.  You enjoyed life and shared that with others by keeping us laughing.  Rest now Uncle.  To my cousins, children of Uncle Billy; May God comfort you during this time of loss.

Uncle Billy, I will never forget the huge role you played in my early life.  You were the father figure I needed.  We went fishing and I wanted the Rod & Reel, but you told me, "if you can catch and not be afraid of the Brim you would think about it. I got better and you let me use one of your rods; the first time I casted it, I threw it in the river.  You said, "no more, here is you bamboo rod, fish with that for while".  

Also, I remember you were one of the best welders in Ft. Smith and I believe to this day that was one of the reason Gordon became an expert welder also.  There are so many wonderful memories it would take this whole website to tell them all.  I will ALWAYS LOVE AND MISS you.  Sincerely, one of your favorite nephews (let me tell it!)

There is no way to lessen the sorrow of losing a loved one and there's so little anyone can do, but please know you all are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I remember the days long ago when I was a child visiting Fort Smith, Uncle Billy would always say something funny and make me laugh and smile. May your soul finally rest in peace, Uncle!

I will always cherish the moments I spent with my Uncle, watching him eat cornbread and buttermilk or having a snack of "Onion Sandwiches" "Fried Onion" or just sitting back watching him do the "Uncle Billy Dance".  Your dance will be passed on for generations to come. Remember: Thumbs up and down, rock back and forth..... He will be Missed

I will always have a great memory of my uncle as a strong and soft spoken man.
