My many memories of Aunt Lela have been playing through my mind like a beautiful movie the past few days. Forrest Church wrote that "Love is grief's advance party" and what a great party it was and is. Robert - thanks for calling and talking.  All of you are in my prayers. Blessings to you ...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories as you celebrate a life well lived.   We cannot be there in person but our thoughts, our prayers, our wishes for comfort and peace will be with you now and in the weeks to come.

My big sister was there...
One of my memories that I always cherish is the day that I fell out of a tree.
I was climbing a tree in the prune orchard on the 80, where the big yellow house was, to rob bird eggs out of a nest.  Next thing I knew, I had fallen out of the tree!  Lela Mae walked me home, leading me across a log that crossed a ditch.  My arm was a dangling and she was getting me back to the house.  She has shared this memory many times with me throughout our years.
We were always doing something as kids and she was always there to help out.

I don't know what to say to everyone that will help out now.  I just send my love to everyone.
